Do you know that roughly 80% of the coffee labor workforce are women? This release is part of an ongoing rotation featuring women-led coffee to highlight the role of women in coffee and most importantly give back.

As a year-long supporter with Grounds for Health, $5 is donated from each bag sold to support cervical cancer prescreenings at coffee origin. Grounds for Health goes into rural areas in coffee producing regions to educate and provide self testing kits. Their work is crucial to supporting women’s health.

DR Congo offers savory notes of panela, malt and bergamot.  It’s an offering that highlights a women-led cooperative founded in 2013 by Marcelline Budza with the goals of fighting the inequalities that women in agriculture face and supporting the health and empowerment of women and girls.
