ARABICA VULGARIS / KENYA GATOMBOYA AB 8oz
Pickup currently not available
Inspired by Queens of the Stone Age’s Era Vulgaris, this release is all about sweet simplicity with a groove. Just like their hit song, “Make It Wit Chu”, it’s not loud or heavy - it’s smooth, easy-going and a little seductive, the kind of cup you want to linger with.
Origin:
From the Nyeria region in Kenya, small farmholders with the Barichu Farmer Cooperative produce this offering comprised of Batain, SL28, SL34 and Ruiri 11 cultivars
Cup Profile:
Notes of cola, burnt sugar and fresh nectarine. Roasted to a light-medium, it’s balanced and playful, perfect for finter, pour over, or even dial it in on espresso.
Why Arabica Vulgaris?
It’s a tongue-in-cheek nod to Era Vulgaris—ordinary name, extraordinary flavor. This coffee wears its quirk with pride, just like the album art: smooth, sweet and a little mischievous.
So put on “Make It Wit Chu,” pour yourself a cup, and let the groove of Kenta Gatomboya carry you. Sweet, smooth, and a little mischievous—coffee that plays on repeat. 🇰🇪☕️
