Some coffees have more than one story to tell.

This release comes from the Nyamasheke region of Rwanda, where Celestin and Marie Rumenerangabo and 236 households deliver coffee cherries to the Muhororo washing station.

The story behind this coffee is one of rebuilding, perseverance, and community. After the devastation of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi, the Rumenerangabo family returned to Rwanda and rebuilt their coffee business from the ground up. Today, Muhororo is about more than producing beautiful coffee. It is also investing back into the people who make it possible.

And this coffee variety is beautiful.

Vol I gives you the natural process expression: sweet cooked fruit, cherry, chocolate, and depth.

Vol II gives you the Swiss Water decaf version: cherry, chocolate, green apple, and a clean sweet finish.
