ROAST:GROUNDS FOR HEALTH / COLOMBIA WOMEN PRODUCERS - ARGCAFEE - COCA SUBSTITUTION PROGRAM: MEDIUM

ROAST is dedicated to featuring women-led coffees and to support Grounds For Health, a non-profit focusing on providing cervical cancer pre screening to women in coffee producing countries. For each bag of ROAST sold, $5 will be donated to Grounds for Health.

Currently featured with ROAST is Colombia Women Producers ARGCAFEE - COCA Substitution Program. This is a fantastic offering that has notes of toffee, amaretto, fresh berry, and mild raisin. 

This offering not only impacts women’s health but it also promotes a better life for women producers to shift from illicit crop production to creating sustainable and legal pathways to prosperity through coffee. This lot was produced by 78 women within the program. Cafe Imports and Banexport guarantee of purchase at higher-than-average prices encourages farmers to shift towards the cultivation of legal crops that offer a sustainable source of income and to decrease the community’s dependence on the narco-state of Colombia.
