ROAST: GROUNDS FOR HEALTH / SUMATRA HARIMAU TIGER: MEDIUM

ROAST is dedicated to featuring women-led coffees and to support Grounds For Health, a non-profit focusing on providing cervical cancer pre screening to women in coffee producing countries. For each bag of ROAST sold, $5 will be donated to Grounds for Health.

Currently featured with ROAST is Sumatra Harimau Tiger. 

It’s been a while since we featured a Sumatran coffee, so when I discovered this offering from LaBodega & Cafe Imports, I knew it was the one. This coffee is a super clean medium roast with a balanced flavor profile that features notes of molasses and mellow cooked coffee cherry.

Produced by small farmholders, with over 80% of them being women, this coffee aligns perfectly with Roast Grounds for Health’s mission of supporting women’s health in the coffee industry. For every bag sold, $5 is donated to Grounds for Health’s mission of addressing cervical cancer pre-screenings in coffee-producing regions.
